Twilight in Sparkles

Summary of the Twilight Saga: Edward Sparkles.
It all started one day, when Edward was ballet dancing in his secret shiny, dance meadow, where he was free to be himself. What he didn't know of course, was that Bella, the muggle, was watching, and she instantly fell in love with him. Then, Bella tries to DO something, so she called Jacob to fight Edward, because it's dangerous, and she wants to hear velvet. So Edward and Jacob fight, and the Volturi  Voldemort AVADA KEDAVRAs them.
The End.

Please ignore my crappy story up there. It just seemed like the perfect thing to do (and I know this doesn't make sense).
Anyway, I just finished reading the Twilight Saga a few days ago, and honestly speaking, it didn't suck as much as I thought it would. Sure, Bella made stupid decisions sometimes, but the plot was pretty good (if we're not going to compare it to the Potter series. But, seriously, how could ANYTHING compare to the POTTER series?).

Let's see, I pretty much liked the first book of the series. The way Edward takes interest in CLUMSY Bella. The action. Alice. The sexual tension (there was a bit of it, I think). And, as my friend puts it, It showed a lot of promise.

I didn't hate the second book, though I probably would, or SHOULD have. Maybe it's because I got a warning before reading the books, that Twilight would suck. That Bella would be annoying. And maybe that's why, I didn't hate it. Because, maybe, my brain prepared itself for the annoying parts, and that's why they didn't come (for me). But yeah, I DID find some parts really boring, but the last part paid off. And I really liked the idea that it was BELLA coming to save EDWARD this time, and not the other way around. GIRL POWER! I wan't annoyed when Bella did those daredevil stunts because, somehow, I was as desperate as her to hear Edward's voice. Anyway, Book 2 was probably the worst of the books.

Eclipse, plot-wise, would've been great, but I just didn't like the story there, because there are SO many irritating fights. LIKE, UGH! Why does Jacob have to force himself on Bella, when it's SO obvious that he's no match for Vamp Edward. One of the only events I liked in Eclipse, was when Bella accepted Edward's proposal. HE SHINED LIKE A TRUE VAMPIRE.

Then, the last book, Breaking Dawn. I split it into 2 parts. The part before Renesmee was born, and the part after. Book 4 was really great, in the sense that it kept you hooked, and you wanted to read, and read (in the last part, at least). The first part was REALLY sad, and everything seemed wrong. AND I DIDN'T LIKE OLD EDWARD! Then, Jacob seemed like an emo git... or something like that. But part 2, PART 2 was COOL! It was so action packed, and Bella was strong. :))

BLOOPERS:
1.) I actually thought that the wolves were LITERALLY invisible to Alice. I only realized that she could PHYSICALLY see them a few days after FINISHING the series. Imagine.
2.) I couldn't take Edward's sparkles seriously. It's just one of those things that was ruined by all the hate. I LAUGH, every time he sparkles.
3.) I started calling my friend a vampire, because she GLARES, and has inhuman beauty, and... SPARKLES!

Well, that's the end of this particularly shiny post
(I JUST CAN'T HELP IT. SPARKLES are SOOO... funny)

Why is Blogging so Addicting?

Do you ever get that addictive feeling about something? That no matter what circumstances, you always end up coming and coming back to that thing?

Yeah, well, I'm getting that feeling about this blog right now.

I came back here, even though I shouldn't, to blog some more.
Because I'm supposed to be studying.
Because I'm an honor student.
Because I'm a nerd.
Because I'm a RAVENCLAW.

BUT, I'm also a Rebel. (Sort of, In my own little way)

Yes, blogging is almost as addictive as Twitter. (Almost, but not quite)

And today, after that other post about Exam Weeks, I found myself thinking about what other things to post on this blog.

Anyway, We took up Photography in our MAPEH subject this week. Twas really, really FUN! :)
I wish I could post some of the pictures we took in here, but I'm too lazy to get my camera.

That's all for now, I guess.
Until the urge to blog calls again

Prattles about Harry Potter 7 part 2

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 was freakin' awesome!
Best movie ever!
Don't even mention Twilight. :P
Oh, how can I describe it?
Perfect
Inspiring
Awesome
Cool
Suspense-y
Breathtaking
Quick Paced
Magical (get the pun? ;) )
And, of course, the word most worthy for it: EPIC.
Surrounded by Bravery

Not even those words can fully describe how I feel about the movie.

It's been one month since I've watched HP7 part 2, and I can say, I'm still not over my HARRY POTTER DISORTER (if that's what it is)!
Harry Potter is coolest thing EVER.
J.K. Rowling is a living legend.
Don't make me start on what I really loved about her books (especially the 7th), 'cause I assure you, I wouldn't be able to stop prattling.

So, Instead, I'll just make up a list. :)

What I started REALLY loving/appreciating after I watched the movie:
1.) Snape. Definitely Snape. After reading HP7, I guess I didn't hate him anymore, but I didn't especially love him, either. (Blame my James/Lily fangirlism). After all, he WAS a threat to James and Lily's love. I didn't pity him that much, too. (There was that 1 day of pity, I guess, but not much after that). Then, I chatted with my best friend (who was also a crazy potterhead) and I was like, "Who's your favorite character?" ; she was, like, "Snape". Then, after I watched the movie, I started to REALLY pity him, and like him as a character. Snape's one of the best made HP characters EVER.

Oh.
Well... It's the end of the list, I guess.
I feel kind of awkward right now.
This post was quite random, but whatever. :))

Yo.

Okay.
To be honest, I was about to delete this blog today.
BAM!

I know... I know... but I just created a Tumblog and I decided that it would be easier if I maintained 1 blog. And, well... Tumblr sounded really fun so...

Well, when I came here, I read my old posts and remembered how fun it was to blog. (Good times, Good times) So, now, I changed my mind.
WOOT WOOT.

Thoughts about CHINA

Hey!
I'm back! :D.
The place we went for the study tour, by the way, was CHINA!
CHINA, Zhong Guo!
Anyway, we spent nearly 2 months there, studying Chinese. It wasn't as bad/boring as you think. I mean, I HAVE met a LOT of friends there, and we WERE featured on local T.V, so i'm not complaining. :P.
Of course, it wasn't exactly a breeze in the park, either. I mean, we had to live WITHOUT internet.... without TWITTER! (I'm still kind of amazed I survived that.. O.o) Plus, the dorm rooms weren't exactly clean... Maybe I should make a list..
OKAY!

ADVANTAGES/HAPPY MOMENTS/THINGS I LIKED ABOUT COMING TO CHINA:
1.) I learned Chinese. (Because, whether I like it or not, I am a nerd, and I love learning)
2.) I met new people. (I miss them already... :/)
3.) I got the taste of the dorm life. (although that isn't exactly a good thing... let's just place the good points of living the dorm life here for now..)
4.) I learned Wu Shu. (This, I really like! "Kung fu" was fun! Hyaa!)
5.) It's parent free. (I still missed them, of course... but..)
6.) I got to buy clothes, and new stuff. (I AM A SHOPAHOLIC!!)
7.) I was able to get to know my schoolmates more. (And we became CLOSE! :D)
8.) I earned new experiences and memories.

DISADVANTAGES/ WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT COMING TO CHINA:
1.) School.... on SUMMER?!?? (No student likes school on summer, not even a nerd like me)
2.) No sleep. (Seriously, I sleep 8 hours at most, usually 6 hours. I wake up at 5:30/6:00am. How am I supposed to GROW?)
3.) The food SUCKS! (As in I feel puke~ish every morning. They serve the same food EVERY DAY! Gahh! It was horrible. :O!!)
4.) I got the taste of the dorm life. (The bad parts of it. As in cleaning the toilets *eeewww* , killing cockroaches, cleaning your room, killing bugs, hard beds, smelly "things", and some other horrible things I probably shouldn't mention)
5.) No Internet. (Probably the worst of my china problems.... I CAN'T live without TWITTER, or FANFICTION! I died of boredom and got reborn..)
6.) Strict teachers. (Strict teachers. End of sentence)
7.) Horrible chinese music. (It was so horrible that it became funny. I mean, the tone was really funny and we would sing it just for laughs)
8.) Sometimes, we get TOO close. (There is NO personal space here. You can't do anything in private. There is ALWAYS someone with you.. Not that I didn't like my friends' companies... But I need to be alone sometimes, too)
9.) Smelly G.I. s (G.I.=Genuine Inchick. They really do have a smell. I think they take a bath once a week. I mean, they wear the same clothes every day! No exaggeration there! )
10.) No fruits. (When I say "fruit", I mean Indian mango. I love Indian mangoes!!!!!!!!!)

SOME THINGS I LEARNED AT CHINA:
1.) Chinese
2.) Wu Shu & Aerobics
3.) Not to slide down random poles. (I got a scar after a nasty fall...)
4.) That G.I.s are really bad singers.
5.) A poem called "Rong Chi Zai Xin Zhong".
6.) That people can creep up on you in real life. (I didn't think it was possible. But someone did. And now I like her :D)
7.) How to kill roaches. (Well, not really... there are a lot of roaches here at home, too...)
8.) Do not jump on beds if you do not know how hard they are. (Or you might get a CARD-ACHE! ~don't try to figure that out...)
9.) How short G.I.s are.
10.) How to do a Reetaw Key (wrong spelling intended to mask her name) smile.
11.) Chinese Chess.
12.) Never give in on bargaining.
13.) That people aren't who they seem to be. (Really True)
14.) That time flies by quickly.
15.) How to train your dragon. (ERAGON!!~ haha... Don't try to "get" this, either)

Overall, I liked coming to china and I don't regret choosing to. I met a lot of people, learned chinese, and had fun. It was a great summer! Maybe one or the best! :D

That's all for now.

XOXO

Going Somewhere... :)

Okay, When I said later, I actually meant now. ^_^

I'm going abroad this summer to study. SHOCKER, much? Not really.
And I know, you're probably thinking... (OMG! Dejavu! I actually wrote something like this in a letter I gave my friend)

"OMG! That's so lame and nerdy!" or...
"WHAT? You wasted your summer!" or...
"EEW. I'm gonna stop reading this!" or even...
"O-kaayy.... I don't really care... continue. please."

But, hey, I'm going to enjoy myself there. It's fun. Maybe I should go make a list (Did I mention I love making random lists? Probably not)...

10 Reasons Why I'm Going To Have Fun There:
1.) When I say study, I don't REALLY mean study. I'm NOT going to study. Sure, I'll learn but I'll spend my time MORE playing and shopping and LESS studying.
2.) HELLO? It's ABROAD! That should be reason enough. I get to go to a different country and have a NEW experience.
3.) The price is incredibly cheap. Some famous, rich, guy (OWNER OF 2 AIRPLANE COMPANIES) sponsored everyone who is going there. We only pay, like, half of the real price we SHOULD pay.
4.) I get to shop till I drop. (Not really, I am INCREDIBLY cheap once you leave me money that I have to budget)
5.) It's Parent Free. Haha. Actually, I don't mind my parent's being here. But, I'm not one to get homesick. I'm actually VERY trustable and I would never do anything "bad". Really. ;)
6.) We get to learn a different language. Yep. That's the primary reason.
7.) We get to learn card games. Last time I went to a summer study tour like this, I learned A LOT of card games. It was SUPER FUN!
8.) My classmates and schoolmates are coming with me. A lot of us are coming this school year. Wheeee!
9.) I've got SOMETHING to keep me busy. Last summer, I was BORED TO DEATH. Why am I still alive? Up to this day, I don't know. :P
10.) I get to meet Visayans. I love Visayans. Especially people from Bacolod. Most of my family in the mother side are from Bacolod and I love it there. So, whenever I see someone from Bacolod (or even Visayas), I immediately feel a part of home.

Oh, and there's this TINY detail....
THERE'S NO INTERNET/WIFI THERE
Big detail, actually...

NO. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.No.
I'm Hyperventilating....
Actually, I'm not really sure. I think there isn't any.
And If I'm Right... (Uh oh... bad habit again...)
No Twitter
No Facebook
No Blog
No Youtube
No Fanfiction
No Wiki
NO INTERNET!!!!

Nah. I think I'll find a loophole. There. Is. Always. A. Loophole.
"When there's a will, there's a WAY!"

:) :) :) :) :) :) :D
