Summer 2013

There’s a certain feeling that comes with summer, and I don’t know if anyone else can understand, but it’s a giddy sensation that strikes you at the most random times- like when you’re scrolling through posts, reading a book, or when you have nothing to do.
And while it carries a happy and hopeful mood, it is one of the saddest things in the world. It’s the feeling of wanting to be young forever but knowing that you’ll grow up someday- knowing that summer will inevitably end. The feeling of wanting time to freeze and knowing that it never will.
The sound of a summer breeze. The smell of freshness. The brightness of the sun. The feeling of forever. Life goes on.
Happy summer everyone!

The best summer ever

This post is kind of overdue, but whatever. Here I go.
I PASSED IT.
I BLOODY PASSED IT!
And I'm not saying what it is in case someone I know searches for it on Google and ends up discovering this blog.
But I can't believe I passed, and I'm really really excited because I'll be having the best summer ever!

And for all you know, dear reader, I might have found out that I was a demigod or something... :P
For all you know.

Anyway, sorry for being so informal, but AAAAAAH.
I'll probably give out more details in the future, but this will do for now.
I know that I passed because of the Lord. Praise God!

I still can't believe it!

EXTREMELY
HAPPY
RIGHT
NOW!!!

The End Of Summer

It's 1:30 am right now, and I just decided that I want to blog. About what? I don't know yet, but there was this sudden urge that took me, and I knew that i had to act on it. This is probably a bad idea (very bad indeed), because we will have to get up at 5:00am tomorrow... or later in this case... but there has always been this careless rebel within me who doesn't pay attention to the consequences, and thinks impulsively (and it's rather contradictory to what people perceive me to be. Yes, they think I am this goody-two-shoes rich kid, which, in some aspects, I might be. But to think of ME as a purely girly goody-goody who is scared of the rules is wrong. Very wrong. Those people don't know me). Anyway, I am using an itouch right now, so sorry in advance for any typos, etc.

Summer has turned me into an insomniac. It made me nocturnal. It gave me so many new experiences, and made me discover myself more. In my last blog post, I wrote about my summer plans, and what was going to happen after summer... and now, summer is only a week from ending. School's starting. It makes me slightly sad to think about this. But it also makes me excited. I realized somewhere along the days of summer, that I loved my classmates. We are the most rebellious class in High School (my teachers would assure you that), but we genuinely care for and love each other. They freaking cared about me, and I really did miss every single person in my class (except for two annoying guys, but I don't want to go into detail about them).

I went to a summer enrichment program. What was so bad about it was that everyone, and I mean everyone else, were classmates from another school and knew each other. I was the odd one out. And it isn't because they were a bunch of mean kids that I felt lonely, awkward, etc.. It was because they were strangers-- strangers who knew each other, and people from a class that wasn't mine. They probably thought I was really soft and nice... extremely shy... and a bit snotty. They didn't know the real me. They didn't make me comfortable. (But I did meet one or two people who had the same vibes as I did, and those were the real friends I made.)

My summer was fun... Really short, but fun. I didn't do everything I wanted to, but honestly, could anyone have?

It gave me the time to enrich myself, do things I genuinely wanted to do, improve the things I am good at.

Summer Bea had a blast, and I hope she stays with me forever. And... Though it wasn't as long as I wanted it to be... I thank summer for a lot of things--- mainly, for helping me rediscover myself in ways I had never imagined.

I really do have to sleep now... It's 2:05 AM... And my parents will kill me if they wake up and find me still awake.

I've got three hours of sleep left.

I'll survive.

Summer Plans

VAS HAPPENING?
It has been well over a month since my last post here, but that's okay since nobody reads this crap, anyway. Right?
So to my nonexistent readers, school's done (well, almost). It's SUMMER VACATION! *Plays "What Time Is It?" in HSM 2.*
Yesterday, I tried to paint Hermione Granger in an old t-shirt, because I wanted to sell a merchandise this summer, so I was practicing, but it turned out to be an epic fail. The paint was too old. The brush was too dry. And a bunch of other excuses. Blah. Blah. Blah.
I will be very busy over the summer... doing the things I missed last summer (when I was in China). Like writing fan fiction. Reading MORE books. Playing the piano like a boss. Improving my art skills (I want to study charcoal drawing, and portraits). Reading more manga. Oh, and getting more followers on twitter, which is @yellbea by the way.

It's raining  right now, and I just had to mention this, even though it is irrelevant to this blog post. Because, in case you didn't know, I absolutely love the rain. And I guess I don't completely hate Climate Change, because, then, I wouldn't be able to enjoy the rain during summertime. (I'm assuming all the changes in the weather, like it being HOT in December, and a lot of rain in March, is because of Climate Change. Don't bother correcting me if I'm wrong. I'm bound to find out somehow.) But enough of that. Summer Summer Summer...

My room's being cleaned right now, like spring cleaning maybe, except we don't have spring here. All my art materials are... like... sprawled on the floor, and it makes my room a bit messy, which is fine by me, because artists should be messy. (Yes, I do consider myself as an artist. The egotistic side of me simply cannot have it otherwise).

I think this will be an important summer for me. One of the most important in my life. Because, it's kind of like an endpoint... in a way. This is kind of hard to explain. It's like... the end of summer is a cliff. Time is running normally until the end of summer, and after summer... time will speed up. Sucks, I know. I don't want to grow up. And... ew. I'm going to be OLD after summer time. I don't want to grow up. I want time to freeze, and I want to live in neverland. I feel like college, and my future... like I will see them below the cliff. And I'm approaching the cliff right now. It's so close...

Wait. No more dark thoughts for me. I blame it on the rain.

ANYWAY, THE HUNGER GAMES will be showing tomorrow. YAY. I am super excited. Pee my pants excited (except, I wouldn't do that). It will not disappoint. It will not disappoint.
Also, I am going to HARRY POTTER WORLD! How awesome is that???? I get to drink Butterbeer, and go around Hogwarts... and Hogsmeade... and THAT IS JUST FREAKIN' AWESOME. So excited I might ACTUALLY pee in my pants (haha jk).

And there. My plans for summer all laid out for you, my imaginary friends. I need to take a shower right now. It's like.... 2:00pm. I woke up at 12... which is another advantage of Summer. I get to sleep late, and STILL get more hours of sleep than on school time. No curfew. No eyebugs. No sense of time. Fun. Fun. Fun.

So... Thanks for reading. :)

Thoughts about CHINA

Hey!
I'm back! :D.
The place we went for the study tour, by the way, was CHINA!
CHINA, Zhong Guo!
Anyway, we spent nearly 2 months there, studying Chinese. It wasn't as bad/boring as you think. I mean, I HAVE met a LOT of friends there, and we WERE featured on local T.V, so i'm not complaining. :P.
Of course, it wasn't exactly a breeze in the park, either. I mean, we had to live WITHOUT internet.... without TWITTER! (I'm still kind of amazed I survived that.. O.o) Plus, the dorm rooms weren't exactly clean... Maybe I should make a list..
OKAY!

ADVANTAGES/HAPPY MOMENTS/THINGS I LIKED ABOUT COMING TO CHINA:
1.) I learned Chinese. (Because, whether I like it or not, I am a nerd, and I love learning)
2.) I met new people. (I miss them already... :/)
3.) I got the taste of the dorm life. (although that isn't exactly a good thing... let's just place the good points of living the dorm life here for now..)
4.) I learned Wu Shu. (This, I really like! "Kung fu" was fun! Hyaa!)
5.) It's parent free. (I still missed them, of course... but..)
6.) I got to buy clothes, and new stuff. (I AM A SHOPAHOLIC!!)
7.) I was able to get to know my schoolmates more. (And we became CLOSE! :D)
8.) I earned new experiences and memories.

DISADVANTAGES/ WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT COMING TO CHINA:
1.) School.... on SUMMER?!?? (No student likes school on summer, not even a nerd like me)
2.) No sleep. (Seriously, I sleep 8 hours at most, usually 6 hours. I wake up at 5:30/6:00am. How am I supposed to GROW?)
3.) The food SUCKS! (As in I feel puke~ish every morning. They serve the same food EVERY DAY! Gahh! It was horrible. :O!!)
4.) I got the taste of the dorm life. (The bad parts of it. As in cleaning the toilets *eeewww* , killing cockroaches, cleaning your room, killing bugs, hard beds, smelly "things", and some other horrible things I probably shouldn't mention)
5.) No Internet. (Probably the worst of my china problems.... I CAN'T live without TWITTER, or FANFICTION! I died of boredom and got reborn..)
6.) Strict teachers. (Strict teachers. End of sentence)
7.) Horrible chinese music. (It was so horrible that it became funny. I mean, the tone was really funny and we would sing it just for laughs)
8.) Sometimes, we get TOO close. (There is NO personal space here. You can't do anything in private. There is ALWAYS someone with you.. Not that I didn't like my friends' companies... But I need to be alone sometimes, too)
9.) Smelly G.I. s (G.I.=Genuine Inchick. They really do have a smell. I think they take a bath once a week. I mean, they wear the same clothes every day! No exaggeration there! )
10.) No fruits. (When I say "fruit", I mean Indian mango. I love Indian mangoes!!!!!!!!!)

SOME THINGS I LEARNED AT CHINA:
1.) Chinese
2.) Wu Shu & Aerobics
3.) Not to slide down random poles. (I got a scar after a nasty fall...)
4.) That G.I.s are really bad singers.
5.) A poem called "Rong Chi Zai Xin Zhong".
6.) That people can creep up on you in real life. (I didn't think it was possible. But someone did. And now I like her :D)
7.) How to kill roaches. (Well, not really... there are a lot of roaches here at home, too...)
8.) Do not jump on beds if you do not know how hard they are. (Or you might get a CARD-ACHE! ~don't try to figure that out...)
9.) How short G.I.s are.
10.) How to do a Reetaw Key (wrong spelling intended to mask her name) smile.
11.) Chinese Chess.
12.) Never give in on bargaining.
13.) That people aren't who they seem to be. (Really True)
14.) That time flies by quickly.
15.) How to train your dragon. (ERAGON!!~ haha... Don't try to "get" this, either)

Overall, I liked coming to china and I don't regret choosing to. I met a lot of people, learned chinese, and had fun. It was a great summer! Maybe one or the best! :D

That's all for now.

XOXO

Going Somewhere... :)

Okay, When I said later, I actually meant now. ^_^

I'm going abroad this summer to study. SHOCKER, much? Not really.
And I know, you're probably thinking... (OMG! Dejavu! I actually wrote something like this in a letter I gave my friend)

"OMG! That's so lame and nerdy!" or...
"WHAT? You wasted your summer!" or...
"EEW. I'm gonna stop reading this!" or even...
"O-kaayy.... I don't really care... continue. please."

But, hey, I'm going to enjoy myself there. It's fun. Maybe I should go make a list (Did I mention I love making random lists? Probably not)...

10 Reasons Why I'm Going To Have Fun There:
1.) When I say study, I don't REALLY mean study. I'm NOT going to study. Sure, I'll learn but I'll spend my time MORE playing and shopping and LESS studying.
2.) HELLO? It's ABROAD! That should be reason enough. I get to go to a different country and have a NEW experience.
3.) The price is incredibly cheap. Some famous, rich, guy (OWNER OF 2 AIRPLANE COMPANIES) sponsored everyone who is going there. We only pay, like, half of the real price we SHOULD pay.
4.) I get to shop till I drop. (Not really, I am INCREDIBLY cheap once you leave me money that I have to budget)
5.) It's Parent Free. Haha. Actually, I don't mind my parent's being here. But, I'm not one to get homesick. I'm actually VERY trustable and I would never do anything "bad". Really. ;)
6.) We get to learn a different language. Yep. That's the primary reason.
7.) We get to learn card games. Last time I went to a summer study tour like this, I learned A LOT of card games. It was SUPER FUN!
8.) My classmates and schoolmates are coming with me. A lot of us are coming this school year. Wheeee!
9.) I've got SOMETHING to keep me busy. Last summer, I was BORED TO DEATH. Why am I still alive? Up to this day, I don't know. :P
10.) I get to meet Visayans. I love Visayans. Especially people from Bacolod. Most of my family in the mother side are from Bacolod and I love it there. So, whenever I see someone from Bacolod (or even Visayas), I immediately feel a part of home.

Oh, and there's this TINY detail....
THERE'S NO INTERNET/WIFI THERE
Big detail, actually...

NO. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.No.
I'm Hyperventilating....
Actually, I'm not really sure. I think there isn't any.
And If I'm Right... (Uh oh... bad habit again...)
No Twitter
No Facebook
No Blog
No Youtube
No Fanfiction
No Wiki
NO INTERNET!!!!

Nah. I think I'll find a loophole. There. Is. Always. A. Loophole.
"When there's a will, there's a WAY!"

:) :) :) :) :) :) :D
